When you walk by the seaside in the harbour, a small and charming restaurant catches your eye with its pure white décor; Reana. As the time passes and evening draws in, this deceptively quiet, small restaurant starts to swing; the tables rapidly fill. Locally born Zafer Akbaş, his wife Remziye Hanim and their son Hüseyin serve you with their native charms. Remziye Hanım prepares all the mezes and food herself.

Here you can enjoy local dishes and tasty examples of Mediterranean cuisine. You must make sure to taste a kind of fava bean which is known locally as “kambille”. It is made from a small kind of pea. Their specialties are courgette paste, pastry rolls with chicken and pistachio nut, purslane, muska böreği (triangular savoury pastry pockets with cheese filling) and lemon parfé which are favourites of the regulars. Also not to be missed are the pastry dessert with orange and courgette with ice cream prepared with Remziye Hanim's skill and creativity.
